The goal of this ministry is to disciple Christian boys and girls and provide opportunities for service. It is also the desire to reach out to kids who don’t have a church home and encourage kids to invite their friends and neighbors.

Visitors
Are you visiting Laurelwood Kids’ ministry for the first time?
Electronic Check In:
If it is your child’s first Sunday, we encourage you to arrive a few minutes early to check in. We use an electronic check-in system. During check-in, you will receive a security tag with a unique code matching your child’s name tag. You will use this security tag for pick-up. Your child will be loved and cared for by our trained and background-checked volunteers. If, for some reason your child needs you during service, our volunteers will text you to the phone number you provide. If your child has any known allergies, they will be included at check in and printed on their tag for volunteers.
Where to Go:
We have two buildings that we utilize on Sunday mornings for Kids’ ministry. Both buildings are secure for your children with locked doors, security cameras, and roving security volunteers. Preschool through 5th grade will check in and meet in the Ministry Center building which is the east building on campus. Our west building, where we have our worship services, has secure rooms for nursery and toddlers.
First Sunday of the Month:
Every first Sunday of the month the Laurelwood family partakes in communion. Students, preschool-5th grade, will check in outside of the Worship Center. Afterwards, they will join their families for the first half of the worship service. This time allows children to be a part of the larger church family and share in communion. Afterward, children are dismissed with their teachers to their classes for an age-appropriate Bible lesson.
