In consideration of your acceptance of this Run/Walk entry, I forever waive, release, and discharge any and all rights, claims for damages, and causes of suits or action, known or unknown, that I may have against the Laurelwood Baptist Church, Clark County, any sponsors, suppliers, employees, and any other persons who in any way assist or are connected with this event, in any manner arising out of or resulting from my participation in this event. I agree that this waiver, discharge, and release also applies to my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, without exception. I attest and verify that I have full knowledge of the risks involved in the event and that I assume those risks, that I will assume and pay my own medical and emergency expenses in the event of an accident, illness, or other incapacity, regardless of whether I have authorized such expenses, and that I am in a good state of wellness to participate in this Run/ Walk event.

To get a medal, you must participate on foot. (Families may use strollers.) All participants must have signed the liability waiver to compete. No Pets Allowed during the 5K. No use of bikes, scooters, etc. If you anticipate being in the front or in the back, arrange yourselves accordingly at the starting point. Be courteous in the way you are running the race: aggressive behavior will not be tolerated. If you decide to use headphones or speakers, make sure you can hear the traffic and remain aware of your surroundings. Please arrive at 8:30am. The fun run will begin at 9:30am. Be prepared by this time, so we can all start at the same time together.
